I have been thinking about something recently... it involves 3M 1080 Satin Flip Ghost Pearl wrap.

Pair that with some Gloss Sterling Silver as a trim color

and 1080-Matrix black covering some sections.

Add some Electroluminescent panel, stripe, wire, LED strip, or even Lumilor painted Electroluminescent graphics, and all of the sudden...

Ok... maybe a little bit toned down from K reative Kustoms’ Slingshot...

And a lot less expensive than the Parker Bros.’ ground-up- fabricated hub less LightCycle.

and you have a real-life Tron vehicle.

But what base vehicle would this be applied to, you might ask?

Can Am’s new Ryker.

Albeit it needs a bit of streamlining on the front center section, to look a bit more Tron-like... and maybe a hint from Hot Wheels... like the Tri & Stop Me.

Ryker is just BEGGING for a smoother fairing/flyscreen from the engine lid, up over some more modern LED headlights, and shielding the dash module that should be attached to the body, rather than the handle bars... and the whole assembly could tilt forward for engine and storage box access.

And I can’t help but think that BRP / Can Am didn’t have Hot Wheels “ Faster Than Ever” wheels in mind when they designed Ryker’s wheels...

FTE (based on OH5SP - open-hole 5-spoke), and FTE2 (based on TRAP5 shown) are the only two wheel designs where the bronze/copper color and Faster Than Ever packaging labels indicated that the car had special nickel-plated low-friction, high-speed axles for better hot wheels track performance.

The fact that Ryker’s wheels look like OH5SP on the 600 and 900 models , an TRAP5 on the Rally Edition, I don’t think is coincidence, but it is just speculation on my part...

But I would want to have them detailed in bronze, just as a nod back to Hot Wheels, even if it is a slight departure from the Daniel Simon Design Tron Legacy tribute aesthetic.
